The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, received the head of the Justice and Charity Movement, Ahmed Al-Shammari, and his accompanying delegation in Erbil on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation and developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region, and touched on bilateral relations between the two parties.

The visiting delegation offered congratulations on the Kurdistan Islamic Union's victory in the parliamentary elections.
