Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin and his accompanying delegation received on Tuesday the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in the region, Iraq, and the region, while the visiting delegation offered congratulations to the Secretary-General on the occasion of the success of the parliamentary elections, wishing them success.

Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaaddin expressed his happiness with the visit of the head of the Wisdom Movement, stressing the need to work for the security and stability of Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the region.
