On Tuesday, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, awarded a certificate of appreciation to all candidates of the Union's 148 List in the Sulaymaniyah District, in the presence of a number of members of the Executive and Leadership Council and the Supreme Committee of the Sulaymaniyah.

The Secretary-General said in a speech on this occasion, "We praise and thank the great effort made by all candidates to empower the 148 List."

He added, "We are proud of all the Union's candidates and the impact they have left because their main goal was to please Allah and serve the citizens, not to obtain positions."
