The head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union election bureau, Hemn Iskandar, said that in this election, the KIU's votes have increased, and the number of seats has increased from 5 to 7 to 8.

He added that we are happy with the results we have achieved. We did not have any seats in Erbil before, but this time, we have secured one seat and are waiting to secure another.

We have secured one seat in Halabja, three in Sulaimani, and two in Duhok. We are waiting for the third seat.
