The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Mohammed Bahauddin, received the new Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, and the Turkish Consul in the Kurdistan Region on Wednesday in the presence of members of the Executive and Leadership Councils.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region. The Secretary-General expressed his happiness with the new ambassador's starting his work and wished him success.

In return, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Secretary-General for the warm reception, stressing the need to continue coordination between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in the political, security, and commercial fields.
