The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaddin, sent a message of condolence on Tuesday for the death of the great writer and Islamic preacher Muhammad Ahmad al-Rashed.
The Secretary-General said in his message, "With hearts satisfied with the command of God Almighty, we received the news of the death of the writer Muhammad Ahmad al-Rashed," stressing that "the Islamic library, international Islamic conferences and organizations, and the moderate Islamic movement have lost a great thinker."
He added that "Iraq and the Brotherhood school in Iraq have lost a great guide, and the Kurds have also lost a loyalist to their cause."
Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaddin stressed that "the deceased spent his entire life between travel, jihad, and writing, and that he had a leadership mentality, a strategic plan, a valuable pen, and a balanced speech."
He explained that "we ask God Almighty to reward him with the best reward for all that he has provided and to admit him to Paradise, and we offer our condolences to his family, all Muslims, and fellow thinkers."
