Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, criticized, on Monday, the delay in disbursing salaries of Kurdistan Region employees for July.

The Secretary-General said in a post on Facebook, "We have reached the twentieth of August and the government has still not disbursed the salaries of July. Who bears the burden of the passage of 50 days since the distribution of salaries?", stressing, "Whatever the reasons and whatever the excuses, the employees and their miserable children are the victims."

He added, "The Federal Court, by its decision, obliged the two governments to disburse the salaries of those salaries in the Kurdistan Region on time."

He pointed out that "from the perspective of our sense of national responsibility, and just as our brothers had the honor of issuing the historic decision, we emphasize the need to stop this abhorrent game, and the two governments must work to facilitate the implementation of the court's decision," stressing, "Otherwise, we will be forced to prosecute the violators."
