KIU bloc will not vote for the new KRG

The Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc, Monday, announced that it will not vote for any candidate in any of the positions of the new Kurdistan Regional Government.

"The bloc of the Islamic Union decided to be part of the opposition blocs in the Parliament of Kurdistan," Sherko Jawdat head of the KIU bloc said, adding that "so our bloc will not vote for any candidate for any position in the next KRG" .

He added that "when we were joined to the opposition parliamentary in Kurdistan, we decided not to vote for any candidate in the next government, whatever the candidate".
