Spokesman of the Kurdistan Islamic Union said we are in favor of holding clean and fair elections on time.
Khalil Ibrahim, a spokesman of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), said: despite our respect for those parties that have expressed different positions on participating in the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, we in the Kurdistan Islamic Union consider the elections as a national necessity and a national right, and we are in favor of a clean election.
He added that according to the date set by the Kurdistan Region Presidency in coordination with the Iraqi Independent High Election Commission, the parliamentary elections should be held on 10-6-2024.
