HDP and KIU met to collect aid for the victims

The Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) and the People's Democratic Party (HDP) decided to cooperate in collecting aid for the victims of the earthquake in North and West Kurdistan.

A delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) consisting of Khalil Ibrahim, Mohammed Daratu and Abdulaziz Harki visited the Democratic Peoples' Party (HDP) representation in Erbil.

Nahidah Armish said that the civil society and political parties will announce a campaign to help the victims of the earthquake in North and West Kurdistan.

The HDP delegation considers financial, service and health initiatives necessary for North Kurdistan.

For their part, Khalil Ibrahim, the head of the delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union expressed their condolences about the tragedy in North Kurdistan and West Kurdistan, stressed the spirit of cooperation and unity of the Kurds of North Kurdistan and West Kurdistan.

He added that the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) considers it its duty to help other parts of Kurdistan to deliver the aid to all the victims, so the aid will continue through the parties and charitable organizations.
