On Tuesday, the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the parties and personalities who congratulated the KIU on the 28th anniversary of its declaration.
In its statement, the council said, "In the name of the Secretary-General, the Leadership Council and the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, we extend our thanks and appreciation to all parties and personalities who offered their congratulations by messages, telephone calls, and visits on the 28th anniversary of the union's declaration."
