Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaudin on Sunday, 30/7/2017, in the city of Erbil, and in the presence of a number of members of the leadership of the party, received the former Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, Danay Farr and the delegation accompanying him.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the latest political developments in Kurdistan ,Iraq and the region, and joint coordination between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region, and deal positively with political events to serve the security of the region.
The guest delegation appreciated the positions of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on the political events, stressing the need to consolidate bilateral relations between the region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
