Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammad Bahaadin on Saturday visited the Kurdish historian and archeologist Abdul Raqeeb Yusuf in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union during the meeting praised the efforts of Abdulraqeeb Yusuf in preserving the historical places and the revival of the Kurdish people's civilization.
For his part, Abdulraqeeb Yussef thanked the Secretary-General for his efforts in these fields and expressed his concern over the marginalization and neglect of archaeological and historical areas. He called on the Kurdistan Islamic Union to play a greater role in supporting his efforts for this national action.
