Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaa uddin, accompanied by a number of members of the Executive Council and the Leadership Council on Friday participated in the first annual celebration of the Sulaymaniyah branch of "Iqraa" organization for Quran Science in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
The celebration was held in the city of Sulaymaniyah ,a series of speeches about the greatness of the Qur'an were presented and a number of readers and memorizers of the Quran were honored.
It is worth mentioning that the organization "Iqraa" was founded in 2014 in the city of Sulaymaniyah and has 12 branches in the cities and towns of Kurdistan Region.
