Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received on Wednesday Qadir Hama Jan.
The meeting was attended by a member of the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Musaffa Abdullah.
During the meeting, the attendees discussed the situation in the Kurdistan region, Iraq, and the region, stressing the need to prepare for possible changes in the region.
The attendees stressed that the current conditions cannot tolerate an additional delay in holding the Kurdistan Parliament elections, and its date must be set as soon as possible under the supervision and monitoring of the competent authorities and the United Nations.
