Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, sent on Wednesday a message of congratulations on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and the advent of the New Year.
The Secretary-General said in a post on the X website, “I congratulate the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and the New Year to Christian citizens and all of humanity.”
He added: "We wish for a new year free from injustice and persecution, although unfortunately, this anniversary comes upon us while Palestine - the homeland of this great prophet - is being subjected to the largest operation of genocide by the Zionist occupation."
