The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, sent On Friday a message of condolence for the death of the eminent scholar and well-known personality in Erbil and Soran, Sheikh Abdullah Qalati.
The Secretary-General said in his message, “With sad hearts, we received the news of the death of the distinguished scholar and prominent figure in Erbil and Soran, Sheikh Abdullah Qalati.”
He added, "On this sad occasion, we extend our condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, and all respected scholars in the Kurdistan region, and we pray to Allah the Almighty to grant him the highest levels in heaven."
He stressed, "Sheikh Abdullah spent many years of his life with knowledge and gratitude, and his loss is a great loss. We pray to Allah that his students and children will succeed in filling the void he left and continue his approach."
