As part of his tour in the capital, Baghdad, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, and his accompanying delegation visited, on Wednesday, the Iraqi Minister of Construction and Housing, Bengin Rekani.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan region, and the region, the Secretary-General shed light on the outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil, stressing the need for the representatives of the region to come together in Baghdad and intensify efforts to find solutions to the problems between the two governments.
On the other hand, Bangin Rekani expressed his happiness for the visit of the Secretary-General and his accompanying delegation, considering the role of the Kurdistan Islamic Union very important in Baghdad.
