Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), accompanied by a high-level delegation, visited Rashid Azzawi, Secretary-General of the Iraqi Islamic Party, in Baghdad on Monday.
The two sides discussed the situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, the region, and the Islamic world, they also condemned the developments in the region and the Zionist aggression against Gaza, especially the martyrdom of children, women, and elderly men.
At the end of the meeting, the long-standing relations between the two parties and the continuation of this relationship were emphasized.
