Salahuddin Mohammed Bahauddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, accompanied by a delegation of the Executive Council and leadership, received Nasrullah Rashnoudi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed the situation in Iraq, the region and the region and stressed that the stability of Iraq will affect the stability of the region.
In another part of the meeting, both sides considered it necessary to resolve the issues of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government through dialogue and constitutional means and not affect the livelihoods, salaries and services of citizens.
The guest delegation expressed their pleasure with this meeting and considered the role of the Secretary-General of the KIU in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as important for the establishment of peace and stability.
