The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, condemned the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran by an extremist, with the approval and protection of the Swedish government.
"Despising human sanctities is an immoral and disgusting act, and it only shows the sick psyche and the level of the person who committed this heinous act," the Secretary-General said in a tweet on Twitter.
He added, "The turnaround that took place in Sweden is on the same level, and it is a crazy act that only aims to create more chaos in the world."
He stressed that "our demand to prevent it and not to repeat it".
