Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), tweeted: “The girls of the country have achieved great sovereignty for themselves, their families, the reform movement, and the Students Development Organization".
He added: 3000 girls of Sulaimani put the golden crown of glory on their heads, they showed the original national and religious identity of Kurdish women.
