Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, participated, on Friday, in the teacher development camp, which was set up by the Teachers Council of the Union in cooperation with the Teachers Authority of the Union in Erbil.
In his speech during the opening of the camp, the Secretary-General highlighted the role of teachers, as they are models for education and building the foundations of high morals and good education.
He added that teachers must maintain their leadership role in society and be a reference for people sincerely in fulfilling their needs and treat students as their own children.
He stressed that teachers must educate people against campaigns that distort the future of our generations, and be part of the organization to combat these plans and conspiracies that target the identity of society.
