Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received in the city of Erbil, on Monday, the supervisor of the Secretariat of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Qubad Talabani.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan region, Iraq and the region, stressing securing citizens' rights and services, solving their problems, and taking the means to improve their lives.
In another aspect of the meeting, the two parties referred to the need for unity of ranks and word in facing challenges and constitutional dealings with the federal government to resolve outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil.
