Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), accompanied by a delegation of the Executive Council and leadership, yesterday 22-11-2022 received Professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, Secretary-General of the World Union of Muslim Scholars and accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed the internal situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, the region, and the Islamic world. Both sides agreed that the threats to stability and reconciliation in the region and the world require consensus and unity of all parties and communities.
In another part of the meeting, they emphasized that despite the obstacles, thanks to Allah, Islamic work and preaching around the world is developing significantly and there is much good news in this field.
