Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, and his accompanying delegation participated, on Wednesday, in the 28th anniversary of the founding of the Islamic Union of the Kurdistan Sisters.
In a speech he delivered on this occasion, Secretary-General said, "Since its establishment, the Islamic Union of the Kurdistan Sisters had an active participation in all fields along with their brothers, and they helped them in all the successes of the Islamic Union."
He added that "the active role of the sisters in the Kurdistan region in society in general and in the family in particular deserves thanks and appreciation," hoping that "the sisters continue their role in serving the family and the Kurdistan community."
