Today Monday 12/9/2022 during the meeting of the Supreme Council of Teachers in Erbil, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), thanked the Supreme Council of Teachers of the KIU for carrying out the camp to build the capacity of teachers in Kurdistan, announced that "I hope it will be a good start to the new academic year and serve the students and generations of this country".
In another part of his speech, the Secretary-General congratulated them on the new academic year and called on them to hold their educational and scientific duties and take care of the scientific and educational level of the country's students and said that the teacher must be a torchbearer of sincerity, skill, morality and care, Teachers do the sacred work of the prophets, build the minds and personalities of the people and shape the future of the country".
In another topic, the Secretary-General of the KIU called on the government to pay serious attention to the education sector and said that unfortunately the authorities have not paid so much attention to teachers and provide the needs of schools and students.
