Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, met on Saturday with a number of young girls at the Union Center in Kirkuk.
In a speech during the meeting, Secretary-General said, "The role and position of youth for the future of the people is more important than anything, and the model for the success of any people is linked to the efficiency of the youth."
"It is necessary for young people to pay more attention to their personalities in all areas of life and to keep pace with developments in the world," he added.
In another part of his speech, Secretary-General stressed that "young girls must play a positive role in school and all areas of life, and be role models for a healthy generation."
