Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and a delegation of the Executive Council, received Today Sunday 21-8-2022, a high-level joint delegation of the Kurdistan Communist Party, Kurdistan People's Democratic Movement, and Kurdistan Toilers Party.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and the region, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union said: The changes in Iraq and the problems facing the political process in Iraq require all parties to exchange views on this situation and deal with the changes in a national direction.
ِHe also stressed that: unfortunately the Kurdistan Region authorities are acting very indifferently in front of this important national issue, both sides agreed and stressed the need to hold parliamentary elections as soon as possible defending the constitutional rights of our people and corruption and injustice.
