Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, held a meeting for the teachers of the Union in Dohuk and Zakho.
Secretary-General said during his speech, "Our students and children face moral and electronic risks, and we must face these dangers, and this is what makes teachers burdain in order to educate the next generation."
He added, "In addition to education, it is the teachers' duty to educate and develop children, and their first concern should be to guide young people, self-confidence, and perfect morals."
He stressed that "the payment of salaries has become politicized and is one of the most basic rights of teachers, and that developed countries are primarily concerned with education and teachers."
