Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahaddin Muhammad Bahaaddin, met with the former Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Hachim al-Hasani in the capital, Baghdad.

For his part, Secretary-General reviewed during the meeting the vision of the Islamic Union for the overall situation in Iraq and the region and ways to end the crisis by finding a consensual ground between the partners of the political process.
For his part, Dr. Hachim Al-Hassani stressed the necessity of uniting the efforts of the country's leaders through understandings that lead to breaking the political deadlock.
