cretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, held Monday an iftar banquet for a number of members of the offices, the party's centers, and institutions in Sulaymaniyah.
In a speech during the meeting, Secretary-General said, "The officials in the Kurdistan region stand idly by in the face of the accumulated crises, both political and economic," explaining that "there is a large gap between the citizens' authority that has expanded due to the indifference of the authority."
He added that "external interference stands as an obstacle in resolving internal problems or outstanding problems with the federal government in Baghdad and reaching an agreement with it."
