Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, and his accompanying delegation visited the (Iqraa) Organization for the Sciences of the Qur’an in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
In a speech he delivered during the meeting, Secretary-General valued the role of the governing body of the organization, saying: "It is a pleasure to see that the organization has left a positive impact in a short period in the field of Quranic sciences in the Kurdistan region."
"We demand the organization to make more efforts and coordinate with personalities who have a long history in serving the Qur'an and its sciences," he added.
He stressed that "the Kurdistan region in this period is in need more than ever of generations working in the service of the Qur'an and to be more loving to the Book of Allah, and therefore we call on all concerned parties and persons to extend a helping hand to the (Iqraa) organization and its ilk in the country."
