Secretary-General said during his meeting with engineers: "Engineers should be actively involved in the fight against corruption." "Most of the corruption deals and waste of public funds were carried out through the implementation of construction projects, agriculture and other projects related to the work of engineers," he said.
He called on the engineers of the Kurdistan Islamic Union to work seriously within the Kurdistan Engineers Syndicate to remove it from party domination and to make it an independent civil institution in order to serve the citizens.
