Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and the leader of the new generation movement in the city of Sulaymaniyah, on Wednesday, discussed the results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections, and the consequences of hacking of votes in the region on the political and social situation of Kurdistan.
This came during the reception of Salaheddin Muhammad Bahaaudin for Shaswar Abdul Wahid and his accompanying delegation, in Sulaymaniyah, on Wednesday afternoon 16/5/2018. According to a press release issued by the office of Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union.
The press release said that the two sides discussed the latest developments in the Kurdistan and Iraqi arenas, focusing on the electoral process on 12 May, the rigging programmed and hacking of votes on the overall political and social situation of Kurdistan.
The statement said that the two sides stressed the adoption of all legal and civil means to restore the rights of voters in the Kurdistan Region.
