Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaaudin with the presence a number of party leader on Wednesday received Sheikh Irfan Abdul Aziz, head of the Islamic Movement in Kurdistan and the delegation accompanying him.
The two sides during a meeting lasted more than two hours pointed to the latest political developments in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq and bilateral relations between the two sides. The two sides stressed during the meeting on the need to succeed the joint Islamic project and unify their position and continue to develop it.
Where they decided to hold joint meetings in the next phase for the purpose of developing appropriate plans and mechanisms for future work.
In another part of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to solve the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad through dialogue ,within the framework of the Constitution ,improve the living conditions of citizens and employees and the establishment of justice ,transparency ,good governance away from corruption.
