Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaauddin, and in the presence of a number of party leaders, met with the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in Sulaymaniyah.
The delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union was received by the official of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Mullah Bakhtiar and a number of members of the Political Bureau, a day after the meeting of the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union with the wife of the General-Secretary of the PUK Hiro Ibrahim Ahmed and the First Deputy Secretary-General Kosert Rasul Ali.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the latest political developments in Kurdistan, Iraq and the region, stressing the importance of preserving the unity of the Kurdish row to face the dangers in the region at the current stage.
