Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaudin, described the decision of the participation of Kirkuk in the referendum on independence, scheduled for 25/9/2017, as historic, and appreciates the efforts of party cadres in this regard.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin during receiving his party bloc in the Kirkuk Provincial Council on Sunday 10/9/2017, discussed the latest developments in the political and administrative arena in the city of Kirkuk, describing the decision of the provincial council to participate in the referendum as important and historic, at the same time appreciated the efforts of the cadres of the Islamic Union in this regard.
It is noteworthy that the provincial council of Kirkuk led by the President of the Council Rebwar Talabani of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc, had voted earlier for the participation of the city of Kirkuk in the referendum to be held at the end of this month on independence.
